From first-year students to seniors, we provide career advice and guidance to all our students. The Career Services Unit at the Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs provides continuous support, advice and guidance for current students (as well as graduates) in order to help them secure rewarding professional careers and internship opportunities.
At SCMST, the safety and well-being of our students are primary concerns. In support of this, SCMST has formed the Students of Concern Committee (SOCC), which provides a centralized process to coordinate the university’s response to support students who are exhibiting concerning behavior. The committee coordinates efforts when a student’s behavior could potentially be harmful to self or others and when student welfare is a concern.
Artificial Intelligence refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include learning, reasoning, problem-solving, understanding natural language, and perception.
We are committed to supporting students from a care background and estranged students who do not have the support or approval of their families. The SCMST is committed to supporting students from a care background to ensure that you receive the help you need in order to have a successful university experience.
The International Student Advice Team (ISAT) provides support and advice to international students, as well as staff working with international students by helping solve problems, find resources, build awareness, grow communities, and work towards the goals of the international student. Contests, mixers, lectures, and socials are some of the events we deliver.
The SCMST has a range of support and advice to help you manage your finances during your studies at SCMST. The information in this section is intended to assist you whether you are planning your budget or are currently experiencing financial difficulties. We are very much aware of the continuing impacts of the increased costs of living on the student community.
Our Student Union is dedicated to the continuous development and welfare of the SCMST community. Consisting of 15 members elected through campus-wide elections and two appointed subcommittee members, the Student Council is the executive authority of the Student Union. Its mission is to represent the students and give them the opportunity to communicate their views.
